Is play just fun and games? Not quite! Join us for our exciting Open Day and discover how play is at the heart of our innovative “Where Children Shine” early years curriculum.
What To Expect
Our open days are the perfect opportunity for you to view the nursery and meet the team in a relaxed, fun filled environment. There is always lots of activities for the whole family to enjoy!

What type of activities are on offer?
A.This depends on the theme of the open day, but often includes programmes from our curriculum, Where Every Child Shines. Visit for more details of our curriculum programmes and click on your chosen open day above for more details of the activities on offer.

Is there a cost to attend?
A.No, all our open days and activities on the day are free of charge, along with some tasty treats, often made by our on-site chefs!
However, we do often use the opportunity at our open days to raise money for our nominate charity, Children’s Hospice South West, but donations are voluntary.

I am an existing parent at a Happy Days Nursery, can I attend the open day?
A.Yes of course, and bring along your friends and family as well, everyone is welcome!
Q.
Do I need to book?
A.No, there is no need to book, just turn up! However, if you would like a personalised tour of the nursery during the open day, then we do ask that you contact your local nursery and make an appointment for the tour.

Who can attend an open day?
A.Anyone! We open the nursery up to the whole community, whether you are interested in a nursery place or just want to come along and join in the fun, everyone is welcome.
